Design of a concrete bund walled enclosure for Arava Mines in the Marine Port of Ashdod.
The concrete enclosure (72 mL x 42 mW x 6.0 mH) was designed to contain 15 m
3 of Sulphuric Acid and withstand blast pressure waves.
The enclosure required 4000 m
3 of concrete and was part of a larger project that included the acid storage tanks complete with piping, pumping facilities electrical and instrumentation.
